Introducing the Evolve catamaran workboat and yacht

The Evolve's highly efficient, low energy design allows savings in fuel and energy making a cost-effective environmentally sensitive workboat solution.

 

The Evolve is targeted at uses from fishing to surveying, diving to leisure and wind turbine support work.

 

An ultrafine displacement hull (UDH) form, originally developed for military applications, combines deep, ultrafine cleaver bows with a high bridge deck and parallel lines aft of amidships for minimal drag and vastly better manners on the water.

 

The hull is designed to pierce waves and never “slam” – resulting in a far more comfortable and efficient ride for the crew and passengers. The Evolve brings two strands of development together by combining state of the art composite processing technology with a revolutionary hull form to give dramatic improvements not only in fuel efficiency but also handling, wash reduction and ride quality.

 

The boats are created using resin infusion composite technology whice gives a high quality, durable, strong and lightweight hull.

 

The Evolve is available in 10m, 12m, 14m and 16m lengths and with a variety of deck configurations to suit any purpose. With a beam of 4.2m to 7m and a payload of two to eight tonnes. This means we can offer boats tailored to their application, including standard designs for crew transfer, dive support, commercial fishing, charter angling, and survey and standby duties. We will shortly offer vessels with large propeller surface peircing drives for maximum efficiency and the ultimate in engineering redundancy.

 

The Evolve has been created to offer a vessel with a much lower environmental footprint, an important consideration in these days of concern about global warming and pollution.
